Its been well documented that we did not bring in anyone before the end of the transfer window. You may be thinking that I'm stupid for suggesting Appiah, but he is a free agent, and therefore free to join any club, at any time.
There have been reports recently that Appiah was on his way to West Ham, but Ive been hearing from various sources that he may well be on his way to Arsenal, having a medical on Thursday and signing a 35K a week deal.
This would seem to be a typical Wenger move, and he has targeted him previously, namely before his transfer to Fenerbache from Juventus. I think he is the type of player Arsene would want, not a defensive midfielder but a box to box player, and a powerful one at that.
I'm not saying that this is a dead cert to happen but if it came off it could well be brilliant business.
Maybe Arsene can use the Internationals to his advantage?
We will have to wait and see!
